About us
Many shops. One place to buy from them.
Ingata is a marketplace of independent Rwandan businesses. Each one runs its own shop — its own products, prices and delivery — and you can buy from several of them in a single checkout.
Buying
How buying works
One cart, an order per shop
Add from as many shops as you like. At checkout each shop gets its own order, because each one packs, delivers and is paid separately.
You pay the shop directly
By Mobile Money, bank transfer, or cash on delivery. Ingata never holds your money — the shop confirms your payment itself before it dispatches.
Track it, return it
Follow each order from confirmed to delivered, and ask the shop for a return from your order page if something isn’t right.
Trust
Why you can trust a shop here
Every shop is admitted
Businesses don’t sign themselves up. Ingata opens each shop and names the person who runs it — and can close one that doesn’t treat customers fairly.
Reviews from real buyers
Only someone who bought a product and received it can review it. A shop can reply, publicly, under the review.
An invoice for every order
Each order comes with an invoice from the shop, ready to print or save as a PDF from your order page.
For businesses
Run a business?
Shops on Ingata get their own storefront and the tools to run it — products and stock, orders and deliveries, payments, coupons, invoices and sales figures — on a plan that fits their size. Shops are opened by the Ingata team, so get in touch and we will set yours up.
